Low Birth Weight (LBW) not only causes infant mortality but also other health problems. LBW babies have an eight times greater chance of death than non-LBW babies. One way to prevent low birth weight (LBW) babies is to improve the nutritional status of pregnant women. This type of research is analytical observational research with correlation studies. The population in the study was 150 respondents and 31 respondents were taken as a sample using accidental sampling. Data analysis used the Chi Square Test. A total of 15 respondents had normal nutritional status, 5 people (16.2%) had LBW babies and 10 people (32.2%) had non-LBW babies.
